

The function of Macro is to capture what the eye can't see. Such as texture and to make just one thing stand out while the background is blurry. Depth of field is when you focus on one thing while the background is blurry and the more blurry the better. It would be a good compositional choice for when you really want to capture something no one really see's. I choosed these two pictures because they really show how Macro works. On the first picture you can really see the texture of the plant. On the second picture you can see what I wanted to be my main focus while the background is blurry.
